When we change the passwords, users may facing the small problem of the password for Mac Mail. Here is how to change in Mac Mail App. Different version of Mac OS might be slightly different.

Basic Instruction

Step 1 - Preferences

In Mac Mail, click Mail from the menu, the click Preferences.

Step 2 - Shortcut

Or if the Mac Mail is running, press the shortcut keys (command + ,)to open Preferences.

Step 3 - Change Password

1. Click the "Accounts".
2. Click "IMAP".
3. Choose "Server Settings" on the right side.
4. & 5. Change both passwords to the current one.
